Charles is 20 years old from San Clemente, California. He is currently living in San Diego and attending school for a degree in business. He started bodyboarding at thirteen and since then has gone on most trips with film maker Rob Isambert.
"I'd been down to this wave before but we got better waves this time. I liked checking out other waves around the area since we had rental cars this time. I liked watching Jacob surf, I think he is pretty underrated. It was cool hanging out with everyone on the trip and getting to know them, it was a pretty motley crew. It was good to have an iPod there and just watch the waves with everyone when I'd get out of the water. Another memorable part of the trip was each morning waking up to sick waves and having that anticipation."
